Manufacturing & Process Control
Every variable that changes stretch, recovery, width or shade is defined, measured and recorded.
Processes under our supervision
Design, procurement, quality control, research and development, warehousing, packing and dispatch all run in-house, under one management. [Confirm which production steps are also in-house, for example warping, weaving, braiding, dyeing and finishing.] Because these steps run under our supervision, the parameters that matter are set by us and not negotiated with a subcontractor.
Defined parameters
For each approved article we record the yarn specification, construction, machine settings, tension and finishing conditions. The next lot is made from that record, not from memory.
In-process checks
Width, stretch and recovery are checked during production, not only at the end, so drift is corrected before it becomes a rejected lot.
Traceability
Each lot can be traced to its raw material batches and production records. If a question comes up months later, we can answer it.
